Miller

To see a miller in a dream denotes a person occupied with reforming his own soul and persons or circumstances harmful to society; an old miller with a luminous face denotes a person who has seen much of life; and a young, raggedly dressed miller denotes one who earns through dubious means, an untrustworthy person.

The miller seen in a dream is an indication of a man occupied with reforming his own soul and worldly affairs in proportion to the amount of wheat ground in the mill. If the miller he sees is young, the sustenance of the dreamer will come about through the aid of his enemy. If he is old, his sustenance will be obtained through his grandfather or his friend.

The interpretation of seeing a miller in a dream signifies grief, enmity, changing a thing from one state to another, and an administrator who completes profitable and difficult affairs by his own will. If a person sees an old miller in a dream, it indicates that the world inclines toward that person through his grandfather and friend, in proportion to the amount of flour ground in the mill and the strength of the miller. The miller is interpreted as a person who undergoes hardship in obtaining his sustenance and from whom goodness reaches everyone.

Ibn Sirin: To see a miller in a dream indicates one who guarantees sustenance, a person beneficial to people, a just ruler, or a possessor of knowledge.
