Nightgown / Pajamas

Imam Ja‘far al-Sadiq: There are three interpretations of seeing a nightgown or pajamas in a dream:

1- A good woman

2- Comfort and ease

3- Sorrow, distress, and calamity.

Allamah Majlisi: Wearing a nightgown signifies marriage.

Ibn Sirin: A nightgown signifies a woman. To see in a dream that you are wearing a white and clean nightgown indicates that your spouse is an honorable and chaste person.

Wearing a black nightgown in a dream signifies that there will be certain problems between you and your spouse.

Wearing a purple nightgown in a dream signifies tension that will arise between you and the members of your household; seeing that your nightgown is dirty and torn signifies that your spouse is a miserly and incompatible person; seeing your nightgown burn signifies the approach of your spouse’s appointed time of death.

It provides early awareness; the person sees risks before they grow and can choose a more solid path.

Neglect, haste, untrustworthy people or uncontrolled behavior can increase the difficulty.
