The Changing or Transforming of Things/People
In a dream, seeing beings enter from the state by which they are known into another state—for example, seeing a church transformed into a mosque, or a dry tree transformed into a fruit-bearing tree—is interpreted as the changing of the conditions of those possessing rank and, in proportion to the change witnessed by the dreamer, as the world turning from good to evil or from evil to good.
If one sees in a dream that he has passed the age of thirty and that his hair and beard have become white, although he is not actually so, this is interpreted as the rectitude of that person’s religion and as an increase in his dignity and honour.
If a young woman sees in her dream that she has become old, her religion and worldly state will become good. Whoever sees an old woman as young will become wealthy if he is poor. If the world has turned away from him, it will return to him anew. If he is ill, he will find recovery from his illness. Whoever sees himself as a fresh and beautiful branch of a tree will soon die.
The life of whoever sees himself elongated in a dream will be long. He will attain wealth and children. Whoever sees himself shortened will sell his house, his animal, or anything from which he derives benefit. Whoever sees something of his natural constitution diminished will suffer diminution in his worldly affairs.
If a woman sees in a dream that she has become a man and has intercourse with women, this interpretation likewise belongs to the woman’s possessor who is honoured among the people. The dream of whoever sees that he has a tail, horns, or claws like the hoof of a sheep is good. The dream of whoever sees that he has a beak, lips like the lips of a camel, a trunk, or other excesses upon his body is interpreted according to his worldly possessions. God willing, it is auspicious.
Whoever sees in a dream that his body has become the body of an animal, and that the animal is a lion or a predatory beast, will oppress someone inferior to him. Whoever sees himself flying with wings is interpreted as travelling with honour and authority, in proportion to the height to which he rises from the ground. The life of whoever sees that his body has become such things as a jug, cup, or similar vessel made of clay will be long.
For example, if someone sees in a dream that he has passed the age of thirty or forty and that his hair and beard have become white, although he is not actually in such a state, his being seen in this condition is an indication of the rectitude of his religion and an increase in his dignity and honour.
If he sees in a dream that he is a bridge and that people are passing over him, that person will either become a sultan, or it is interpreted as his being one who accompanies the sultan, the sultan’s aide, or a learned man to whom people will have recourse in their affairs. If he sees himself as a garden, there is no good in this dream. However, if he is one whom people follow in worldly affairs, the interpretation is not evil.
For an old man to see in a dream that he has become a child is not interpreted as good. There is no good in seeing oneself as a child, for he will fall into ignorance by following his lower self. A young woman’s seeing in a dream that she has become old is an indication of the goodness and beauty of her religion and worldly state.
Seeing an old woman as young in a dream is an indication of wealth. Whoever sees an old woman as young in a dream will become wealthy if he is poor. If the world has turned away from him, it will return to him anew. If he is ill, he will recover.
Seeing in a dream that one’s height, while long, has become short is an indication that an existing blessing or wealth will depart. Seeing that one’s neck, while long, has become short is an indication that the dreamer will sell his house, his animal, or anything whatsoever from which he derives benefit. A man seeing himself in the form and adornment of a woman is interpreted as humiliation, affliction, and poverty.
Seeing in a dream that one has a sexual organ like that of a woman is an indication that humiliation will befall the dreamer.
A woman who sees in a dream that she has a sexual organ and beard like a man will, if she has a lost child, be reunited with him; and if she is pregnant, she will give birth to a male child.
Seeing that one has horns and claws like the hoof of a sheep is an indication of good. Seeing in a dream that one has a beak, lips like the lips of a camel, a trunk, or other excesses upon his body is an indication of the dreamer’s worldly possessions.
If the flesh of the animal into which one has been transformed in a dream is lawful to eat, it is an indication of good for the dreamer or of the propriety of his conduct.
Seeing feathers and wings in a dream is an indication of the dreamer’s leadership and of good that will befall him. Seeing something of one’s natural constitution diminished is an indication that there will be diminution in the dreamer’s worldly affairs. Seeing that one’s body has become such things as a jug, cup, oven, or similar object made of clay is interpreted as long life.
If one sees in a dream that a sick child who is with him has become a bird, it is an indication that the child will die and join the birds in Paradise.
Seeing oneself transformed into wild animals in a dream is an indication of separating from the community of the Muslims.
Seeing oneself transformed into a camel, another riding animal, or a predatory beast in a dream is not a good dream in any matter, particularly with regard to religion.
Seeing oneself transformed into a monkey or an animal resembling a monkey in a dream is an indication that Allah (C.C.) will cut off His blessings from the dreamer.
Whoever sees in a dream that his body has become the body of an animal, and that the animal is a lion or a predatory beast, will oppress, through his wealth, rank, strength, and cunning, someone inferior to him.

It can be read as a sign of easing, receiving support, gaining morale, or a fruitful development.
