Circumambulating the Kaaba

Whoever sees in a dream that he is circumambulating the Kaaba: if he is a rebellious person, he will repent and be delivered from the punishment of Hell; if he is unmarried, he will marry; if he is a merchant, he will expand his business; if he is poor, his circumstances will improve; and if he is wealthy, his property and money will increase still further.

To see in one’s dream that one has gone on pilgrimage and circumambulated the House of Allah signifies, for the dreamer, uprightness in religion and walking according to the Sacred Law; that he will attain great reward from Allah (Exalted is He); that if he fears something, he will be delivered from it; that if he is in debt, he will repay his debt; and that if he is poor, his sustenance will become abundant.

To see in a dream that, while circumambulating the Kaaba, one has performed acts deficient in its customary manner and proper procedure signifies that one has neglected one’s religion and that there are deficiencies in one’s worship. To see those circumambulating depart from there before completing the circumambulation signifies indifference in religious faith; and to see oneself leave the Sacred Mosque before completing one’s own circumambulation signifies that one will commit a religious and spiritual fault.

To see in a dream that one calls the people to circumambulate, or that one leads them during the circumambulation, signifies that one will render an important religious service in Islam; to see oneself preventing the people from circumambulating, or disrupting the proper manner of circumambulation, signifies that one is turning Muslims away from the straight path and misleading them; and its opposite signifies that one’s faith and morality in Islam will grow stronger. If a sick person sees himself circumambulating the Kaaba, it signifies that he will recover.

To see a woman circumambulating in a dream signifies that, if she is unmarried, she will marry a good man; and if she is pregnant, she will have a virtuous child.

According to another narration: Whoever sees in a dream that he is circumambulating the Kaaba, if he is sinful, will be delivered from the fire of Hell. If he is unmarried, he will marry. If he is worthy of a high office, he will attain it. At times, this dream signifies fulfilling a vow. It is said that whoever sees in a dream that he has performed the obligation of pilgrimage and circumambulated the House of Allah is a secure, prudent, God-fearing, and devout person. It signifies his adherence to his religion, uprightness in his conduct, the reward he will attain from Allah, his being safe from the thing he fears, repayment of his debt, and his delivering trusts to the Muslims. At times, circumambulating the House of Allah is interpreted as fulfilling one’s vows. At times, circumambulating the House of Allah signifies obeying the commands of the leader of the Muslims.

It provides early awareness; the person sees risks before they grow and can choose a more solid path.

Neglect, haste, untrustworthy people or uncontrolled behavior can increase the difficulty.
