Pledging Allegiance

For a Muslim to see in a dream that he has pledged allegiance to the Prophet of Prophets or to one of his Companions signifies the soundness of his creed and faith, the correctness of his safety and uprightness, strength in religion, and adherence to the noble Sunnah.

To pledge allegiance in a dream to scholars and saints who stand in the station of the deputies of the prophets signifies following the Truth, choosing the right path, and preserving the religion. To follow one who is desirous of rank and office, impious and sinful signifies assisting a leader of base character or a group of that level.

To swear an oath of loyalty in a dream to party leaders signifies preferring this world to the Hereafter; to pledge allegiance to a competent and sincere party and its cadre signifies consciousness of being an ummah; and to pledge allegiance to the president of an enemy country signifies betraying the country and the nation.

To see in a dream that people, together with scholars, are pledging allegiance to a great person signifies the strengthening of the religion and the nation’s choosing the path of truth.

To see in a dream that one has pledged allegiance beneath a tree signifies attaining Allah’s pleasure and acquiring wealth and spoils together with Divine approval. Whoever sees that he has followed a sinful person will assist a sinful milieu.

It can be read as a sign of easing, receiving support, gaining morale, or a fruitful development.

Underestimating opportunities, succumbing to comfort, or being late may reduce the positive effect.
