Seeing a prayer rug in a dream signifies a spiritual rank or a chaste woman.

Whoever sees himself sitting upon a prayer rug in a prayer hall or mosque will go to the Hijaz. Whoever sees himself sitting upon a prayer rug while in spiritual retreat in a prayer hall or mosque will go on pilgrimage to the Hajj and earn merit.

According to Jābir al-Maghribī: Whoever sees himself sitting upon a woollen or cotton prayer rug will become devoted to worship.

Whoever sees in a dream that his prayer rug has been lost neglects his worship. Whoever sees that his prayer rug is of silk will have worship that is false and will be weak in the path of religion.

According to another narration: Seeing a prayer rug in a dream signifies a chaste woman or a religious rank.

Ibn Sīrīn: Seeing a prayer rug in a dream indicates a pious woman, or signifies undertaking a religious duty or being appointed to a spiritual station.

It can be read as a sign of easing, receiving support, gaining morale, or a fruitful development.

Underestimating opportunities, succumbing to comfort, or being late may reduce the positive effect.
