To prostrate in a dream signifies very auspicious works that will draw a person near to Allah (Glorious and Exalted is He), victory over the enemy, attaining triumph, purification from sins, humility, and worldly and otherworldly stations.
To prostrate upon the summit of a mountain in a dream signifies accomplishing a difficult and arduous task; to prostrate before a hill or a wall signifies seeking refuge in the aid of a great personage; and to prostrate before things other than Allah—such as an idol and the like—signifies submitting to a hypocritical community and becoming disgraced and abased.

Prostrating during battle may signify humiliation before the enemy, quarrel, loss of employment, or remaining helpless before closed doors. Prostrating before Allah Most High upon the summit of a mountain signifies defeating a powerful enemy; prostrating upon a hill signifies submitting to a powerful man.
Prostration likewise signifies faith in Allah Most High, joining the companionship of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) in Paradise, longevity, and the rectification of one’s spiritual life. To see in a dream a piece of gold prostrating before a piece of silver signifies that a more noble person will submit to one of a lower station.
