To see a ram in a dream signifies an honourable and respected man. Raising many rams is interpreted as overcoming one’s adversary. It is a symbol of strength and success. Especially if it is sacrificed, it means that the person’s entire life will be good.

What does it mean to see a ram in a dream? It signifies money and happiness. A ram is also interpreted as strength. Whoever sees himself buying a ram from the marketplace undertakes an enterprise in order to earn money.

Whoever gives a ram as a gift to someone in a dream helps that person. Whoever sacrifices a ram averts a great evil.

According to Kirmani: Seeing a ram in a dream is interpreted as an enormous, strong, and good man. Whoever sees that he has found a ram or that one has been given to him befriends such a man. Whoever sees that he has mounted a ram and is going in the direction he desires takes a large man under his command. Whoever sees that a ram has mounted upon him enters under the command of a large man.

Whoever sees in a dream that he has broken both horns of a ram, or one of them, overcomes a great man or breaks his power and benefit. To see the horns of one’s ram grown large and elongated indicates that the dreamer is a good man. (To see a ram die in a dream signifies the death of a great man; to see a ram slaughtered and its meat distributed signifies that, following the death of a great man, his property will be divided among his heirs; if the dreamer is imprisoned, he will be released; if he is ill, he will recover; if he is afraid, his fear will pass; and if he is in debt, he will pay it.

Slaughtering a ram in a dream without intending to eat its meat signifies killing an honourable and exalted person or an enemy. If one sees this dream during wartime, one will attain victory. To see a number of rams slaughtered in one place in a dream signifies that some people will be killed there through war or fighting.

If someone sees in a dream that he has bought a ram from a butcher, it signifies that an honourable and exalted man is in need of him, and that, by speaking concerning that man and preparing medicine for him, he will save him from the illness into which he has fallen, even though he is sick and near death. If he slaughters a ram in a dream, he will overcome a great enemy. If he is ill, he will be freed from his illness.

Whoever sees himself carrying a ram upon his head and shoulder in a dream takes charge of a large man. Whoever sees himself riding a ram, directing it as he wishes, while the ram obeys and submits to him, will defeat a large man. He will also use him in whatever manner he desires. Killing a ram for a purpose other than eating signifies killing a noble person. Killing a ram during wartime signifies the enemy. A slaughtered ram represents murder.

Buying a ram from a butcher signifies that a noble and great person will become dependent upon the dreamer, and that the dreamer will save him from an expected danger or help him recover from his illness. Slaughtering a ram signifies recovery from illness. Carrying the ram above one’s head signifies managing the affairs or accounts of a noble and wealthy person. Riding a ram and driving it as one wishes signifies prevailing over a great person.
