Scratch / Itching / Remainder

Ibn Sirin: To see a scratch (wound) in a dream signifies material loss. If one sees in a dream that another person is scratching him, this signifies that that person will cause him a partial financial loss, or inflict pain upon him concerning a member of his family, or slander him and then compensate him for having damaged his reputation. If the scratch becomes inflamed, bleeds, or produces pus, this signifies that the assailant will slander him and cause a great collapse in his business life. If the scratch is upon his forehead in the dream, it may signify that he will die swiftly. A scratch in a dream also signifies ill repute, a nickname, or a name such as miserly, shameless, or apostate. A scratch in a dream also signifies going back on one’s word.

To itch in a dream signifies looking after one’s relatives; a headache may follow this. If the itching ceases in the dream, it signifies reaping the fruits of one’s deeds.

It provides early awareness; the person sees risks before they grow and can choose a more solid path.

Neglect, haste, untrustworthy people or uncontrolled behavior can increase the difficulty.

In the interpretation, the themes of general meaning, inner intuition, the emotional tone in the dream, and how the symbol concluded in the dream should be evaluated together.
