Enshrouding

Ibn Sirin: To shroud the body of a dead person in a dream signifies happiness for one afflicted with sorrow and repentance for a sinner. If one sees that he intercedes in purchasing the shroud of his friend or relative, it signifies that he will pay money and intercede for someone who has strayed from the path of Allah, whom he constantly rebukes and counsels and calls upon to rectify his condition. It also signifies helping him against poverty or tribulations, for death is the final stage of practising one’s religion in this world. The shroud in a dream also signifies imprisonment or committing a grave sin. To shroud the deceased after washing him signifies purifying him from impurities.

It provides early awareness; the person sees risks before they grow and can choose a more solid path.

Neglect, haste, untrustworthy people or uncontrolled behavior can increase the difficulty.

In the interpretation, the themes of general meaning, inner intuition, the emotional tone in the dream, and how the symbol concluded in the dream should be evaluated together.
