Stone (Rock)

Seeing a stone in a dream is interpreted as benefit. If one sees in a dream that there is a large stone inside his house, it signifies that he will soon receive a benefit from a great person.

Seeing a stone lying in the street of one’s quarter, upon the road, signifies that, if one is an official, his rank will increase; if he is engaged in trade, his earnings will be greater; and if he is a housewife, her husband’s love for her will increase.

Seeing a stone before one’s door so large that one cannot leave through it, and consequently being unable to leave one’s house, signifies that one will inherit a large amount from one of one’s close relatives. It also signifies that one will win the grand prize of the lottery.

According to another narration: A stone seen on the ground or in a wall signifies death. At times, it also signifies hard-hearted people, the heedless, the ignorant, and the unemployed. Therefore, whoever sees that he possesses or purchases a stone, or that he is upon a stone, will gain victory over people possessing the aforementioned qualities. Or he will marry a woman who bears these qualities.

Whoever sees in a dream that he has become a stone will be disobedient to Allah, hard of heart, and corrupt in religion. If he is ill, he will die. If none of these befalls him, he will be afflicted with paralysis. Whoever sees stones raining from the sky upon everyone on the earth or upon the criminals, it signifies that his heart is hard, or that it is a tax to be distributed among the people of that land.

If a stone falling from the sky breaks apart in a dream and its fragments scatter into the houses, it signifies that calamities and afflictions will spread throughout that city. Stones being cast from the sky upon the people signifies a punishment that will befall that place through such things as plague, locusts, hail, wind, rain, or debt. Whoever sees that he has mounted a stone will marry if he is unmarried. Whoever sees a stone hung around his neck will be visited by sorrow and grief.

Whoever sees in a dream that he strikes a stone with a staff, whereupon the stone splits and water flows from it, will become wealthy if he is poor; and if he is wealthy, his wealth will increase. At times, stones signify worshippers and ascetic people. Millstones signify scholars, children, wives, and property. Therefore, whoever sees that he possesses a millstone will attain knowledge and delight, and will overcome his enemy through wealth and arms. If he carries one of the aforementioned stones and feels its weight, he will fall into grief on account of a hard-hearted person, in proportion to the heaviness or lightness of the burden he felt.

Seeing green stones in a dream signifies pain in the eyes and ears, a physician, a scholar, a person of rank, comfort, livelihood, benefit, and a useful craft. Seeing an ordinary paving stone in place of marble signifies a change in ranks, wives, mounts, places, and means of livelihood. Indeed, laying marble in place of a paving stone is a sign of good. Laying paving stones in places where they are necessary signifies fellowship, unity, spaciousness, the dispersal of grief and sorrows, sustenance, and the renewal of garments.

It provides early awareness; the person sees risks before they grow and can choose a more solid path.

Neglect, haste, untrustworthy people or uncontrolled behavior can increase the difficulty.
