Seeing a street in a dream indicates various professions and occupations, and the elements necessary for the continuance of life. Seeing someone wandering about among the streets signifies a person of good works, one who shuns evil and is given to admonition.

Entering a street after leaving the main road in a dream indicates failing to act rightly, giving unfavorable testimony, breaking an oath, or undertaking various sureties.

Walking with people in the street in a dream signifies being carried away by the course of life and acting according to the psychology of the crowd. Seeing oneself walking in the street in the opposite direction from that in which the people are walking signifies salvation for the righteous and misguidance for the sinner; walking alone in a dark street signifies grief and sorrow, and inclinations toward error.

Seeing that you are walking in a street in a dream is interpreted as secrecy. Seeing that you stop and rest in the street indicates that you have reached an agreement with someone concerning the performance of a divine matter; if you are in a street unknown to you, it signifies that you are trying to learn someone’s secret.

According to another narration: Whoever sees in a dream that he enters a street, without acting rightly and turning away from the Truth, will give testimony. Sometimes this dream also indicates breaking one’s oath and undertaking various sureties. Streets also indicate various professions and paths.

Ibn Sīrīn: Entering a street or a narrow road in a dream indicates falling under suspicion, and this is even greater if the road is crooked. A narrow road also signifies breaking an oath, confusing values, and a path, a method of trade, or the techniques of a craftsman in his profession.

It provides early awareness; the person sees risks before they grow and can choose a more solid path.

Neglect, haste, untrustworthy people or uncontrolled behavior can increase the difficulty.
