Seeing sugar in a dream signifies sustenance to be obtained through hardship, toil, and distress. At times, sugar signifies deliverance from imprisonment and recovery from illnesses; for a pregnant woman, it signifies ease and relief after distress. At times, it signifies occupying oneself with knowledge, the Qur’an, and the arts. At times, sugar signifies ready cash.

The interpretation of seeing sugar in a dream: it signifies relief, joy, recovery from illness, the departure of sorrow, grief, and distress, and attaining everything one desires. Sugar also signifies wealth. A single piece of sugar is a child. Sugar in great quantity signifies gossip. Ibn Sirin (may Allah have mercy upon him) said that there is no good in selling sugar in a dream.

Seeing rock candy in a dream signifies sincerity in word and deed. At times, rock candy signifies relief, benefit to be gained from agriculture, and the falling of rain. Seeing sugar in a dream signifies good tidings.

Ibn Sirin: Seeing sugar in a dream signifies joy, festivals, recovery from illness, the removal of anxiety, putting cares aside, fulfilling aspirations, reaching goals, completing one’s duty, a noble spouse, a blessed child, an intelligent child, or a child gifted in all crafts. If sugar is interpreted as money in a dream, it means lawful money; if it is interpreted as a man possessing knowledge, it means knowledge free of innovation. A piece of hard candy may signify a kiss, money, a child, truthfulness in words and deeds, sincerity, deliverance from illness, material ease after difficulties, or profits obtained from farming or from collecting maple sap in its season.

A large quantity of sugar in a dream signifies gossip or idle speech. Selling sugar in a dream may trigger high blood pressure or illness. Sahur: (Arabic) Eating the final meal before dawn during the month of Ramadan may signify wearing down an enemy, the repentance of a sinner, the guidance of a disbeliever, or earning a small amount of money. Whoever thinks in his dream that he has eaten such a meal, it signifies that he will commit a wrong, then repent and seek forgiveness.
