Dream Dictionary / S / Supplication, Plea
Supplication, Plea
Ibn Sirin: To pray in a dream signifies worship, a special prayer, or asking for a particular need. The prayers offered signify that needs will be fulfilled. If the prayers are made at a time of severe need, with intense emotions, sobbing, or grief, they signify difficult moments or trials in the person’s life, and tribulations. Prayers made aloud or with reverence may signify a special prayer, such as the prayer for rain. If the prayers do not seek the grace of Allah or are not directed toward Him, they signify falsehood. Prayers made silently may signify that one will have a blessed male child.
To see a group of people gathering and forming a circle of remembrance and prayer signifies the gathering of children, growth, blessings, or the lifting of afflictions. To see oneself praying to Allah, the Exalted, or to see prayers being offered for oneself in a dream signifies happiness and wealth. Prayers made in the House of Allah or in a mosque are more auspicious than those made elsewhere. Praying in darkness signifies deliverance from calamities. To see oneself pleading with another person in a dream signifies that one fears that person.
