Speaking with Allah

Speaking with Allah in a dream is a highly auspicious and blessed dream, one that is not granted to everyone, and its meaning varies according to the content of the dream. In general, it indicates that the dreamer will receive every kind of help from Allah in his life, will not fall into hardship, will have a prosperous and gainful occupation, and will lead a happy and peaceful life.

To see oneself speaking with Allah in the kitchen in a dream signifies that the dreamer will change his working life; and if he owns a place of business, he will open another, different workplace, thereby increasing his earnings still further, and since the money he earns is lawful, it will be blessed and increase in abundance.

Speaking with Allah in a hospital or at the bedside of a sick person in a dream signifies that, if the dreamer himself is ill, he will soon find healing; and if there is a sick person among his close relations, that person will soon recover and regain his health.

To sit in one’s own room, upon one’s bed, and speak with Allah in a dream indicates the purity of the dreamer’s heart and the strength of his spirituality, and that for this reason he has attained peace and happiness.

To see oneself speaking with Allah in the sky or after ascending among the clouds in a dream is a dream that heralds the dreamer’s attainment of ease and peace both in this world and in the Hereafter. It signifies that the person will attain whatever he wishes, will have no unfulfilled longing within him, and will suffer no regrets.

To weep while speaking with Allah in a dream indicates that the dreamer has experienced something for which he feels remorse of conscience, that he has prayed abundantly and performed the ritual prayer in order to dispel this remorse, yet that it has not departed from him, and that he therefore suffers pain.

To see Allah in a dream indicates that the dreamer is blessed and fortunate, that Allah’s intercession is upon this person, and that innumerable blessings are being placed before him.

To see Allah while performing the ritual prayer in a mosque in a dream signifies that the dreamer is an example to many people in matters of worship, prayer, and spirituality; that he strengthens the spirituality of those whose spirituality has weakened by guiding them; or that, by conversing with those who have strayed from the right path, he brings them once more onto a good and virtuous path.

To laugh aloud upon seeing Allah in a dream signifies that someone around the dreamer is continually offering prayers for him, that through these prayers his affairs proceed well and he obtains blessed gains, and that by virtue of these prayers he is protected from accidents and calamities.

To sob or weep audibly upon seeing Allah in a dream indicates the presence around the dreamer of a devil in human form who wishes to lead him astray from the right path. This dream is a warning for the dreamer, and indicates that this evildoer is doing everything in his power to lead the dreamer astray and cause him to lose everything he possesses, both materially and spiritually; that the dreamer is unaware of this and always approaches that person with good intentions; but that, if he does not remain heedful and recognize the truth, he may suffer great losses.

To see the form of Allah in the sky in a dream signifies that the peace and happiness the dreamer will experience shall endure in both worlds. It indicates that he will experience everything he sincerely holds in his heart with good intentions.

To remember Allah in a dream is one of the auspicious dreams that may be seen. It indicates that the dreamer remembers Allah at every moment of his life, or rather, that he never forgets Allah nor allows Him to leave his mind. It heralds that the dreamer enjoys contentment, has not undergone very great troubles, is in good health, and that this peace shall continue.

Some interpreters of dreams interpret the person who remembers Allah in a dream as “one who renders the due of gratitude.” That is, they interpret him as a person firm in religion.

If the person remembering Allah in the dream is a student, it signifies that the dreamer will rise greatly in his educational life and, attaining a good position, will become a teacher who supports the students around him and influences them positively.

To prostrate oneself before Allah in a dream is the herald of the success and power the dreamer shall attain. It indicates that the dreamer has struggled against difficulties, and that he shall now reap the fruits of this struggle and become happy.

To prostrate oneself before Allah in a mosque in a dream signifies that the dreamer will be obliged to make a decision, that through his strong spirituality he will make this difficult decision correctly, and that following this decision he will continue his life comfortably and peacefully, without requiring very great struggle.

To prostrate oneself before Allah upon the roof or flat roof of one’s house is a warning dream indicating that the dreamer has exerted great effort to draw near to Allah and strengthen his spirituality, and that he has renounced his family, friends, and close surroundings upon this path; yet in truth he cannot enter this path without them and must also receive their support.

To see a Black woman or man prostrating before Allah in a dream indicates that the dreamer will suddenly, at a wholly unexpected moment, acquire a considerable sum of money; yet with this money he may either stray from the right path or, conversely, spend it through lawful means and cause it to become blessed. In other words, it is a dream heralding that the dreamer shall be tested.

To raise one’s hands and supplicate Allah in a dream indicates that after a certain time the dreamer will become an important person in society. The affairs of one who raises his hands and supplicates Allah in his dream will proceed well through Allah’s support, excellent opportunities will appear before him, and both his way and his fortune will be open.

To raise one’s hands and supplicate Allah after the ritual prayer in a dream indicates that the person’s contentment, enjoyment, and health shall never be disturbed in his worldly life, and that he shall live a happy earthly life.

To see oneself scolded or beaten for having prayed in a dream signifies that all the dreamer’s prayers will be accepted, that he will experience the things of which he has dreamed, and that he will rid himself of friends around him who are not firm in religion and do not believe in Allah.

To rebel against Allah in a dream indicates that the dreamer is not content with an event he has experienced or with a person with whom he lives. To rebel against Allah by laughing aloud or mocking in a dream signifies that the dreamer will incur Allah’s wrath and suffer losses because of the mistakes he has committed; yet after these losses he will repent and once more become a good person.

To weep while rebelling against Allah in a dream indicates that the dreamer has been compelled to display behavior that is neither good nor right and therefore suffers remorse of conscience, and that in order to relieve this remorse he continually helps people.
