In a dream, falling from a high place into ruins or an uninhabited place signifies passing from a good state into a bad one.

To fall in a green, well-watered, and beautiful place in a dream signifies passing from a troubled state into a good one; falling signifies, for the wealthy, his miserliness; and falling from places such as a roof, balcony, or terrace signifies harm that will befall oneself, a friend, or one’s property if some part of the body is injured or broken; it also indicates being made by the authorities to face a situation one dislikes.

To see in a dream that you have fallen somewhere is a sign that you will resolve many problems and attain success. If you fall and are injured, you will suffer certain losses and undergo distress. It signifies sudden defeat, failure, or a problem that will be encountered unexpectedly.

To see someone falling upon oneself in a dream signifies that one’s enemy will prevail over him; to see oneself falling from a high place such as a mountain or wall signifies that one’s wishes will be fulfilled; to see oneself falling to the ground from a blow signifies that one will suffer a calamity and misfortune; and to see oneself slip and fall signifies that one will meet with disaster.

According to Kirmani: To see oneself falling face-down in a dream is not good, unless one had intended prostration. If the dreamer is engaged in a lawsuit, battle, or quarrel, he will not prevail. Whoever sees himself falling from a roof, wall, tree, mountain, or another such high place will not attain his desire. The falling in a dream of one who is not strong in religion signifies inclination toward sin, sedition, and evil deeds. To see oneself falling in a mosque, a garden, or a similar place, and that this occurred because of one’s movement and haste with the intention of doing good, signifies that one will abandon sin and turn toward goodness.

According to Abu Sa‘id al-Wa‘iz, falling in a dream is not good.

According to some, seeing oneself fall in a dream is interpreted contrariwise. If you see in your dream that you suddenly fall while walking on the road, it is interpreted as meaning that you will rise in a manner you never expected and become very wealthy.

According to another narration: Whoever sees himself falling downward from a high place will fall from good into evil. If the place into which the dreamer falls is grassy and green, or a place where righteous people have gathered, it signifies that his end will be good; but if the place into which he falls is in ruins and among beasts of prey, it indicates that his end will be bad.

To see oneself falling from somewhere in a dream sometimes signifies miserliness for owners of wealth. Whoever falls from a roof and sees that his hand or foot has been broken will suffer a calamity affecting his person, his property, and his friend.

It provides early awareness; the person sees risks before they grow and can choose a more solid path.

Neglect, haste, untrustworthy people or uncontrolled behavior can increase the difficulty.
