Being Wounded

In a dream, to wound someone or to be wounded by someone signifies that the wounded person will suffer grief and distress; as for the one who wounds, it signifies encountering a situation in which he will commit a grave sin.

Seeing an injured person in a dream or being wounded indicates that you are in a very sensitive state, as you are encountering events both in your home and at your place of work that make you uneasy and distress you spiritually; that you are considering remedies in order to escape this crisis; and that, in the end, by settling the matter amicably through your intelligent conduct on both fronts, you attain peace.

According to another narration: If a person sees in a dream that his body has been wounded, it signifies property that will come into his possession through his labor. If he sees that his right hand has been wounded, it signifies property from which he will benefit through those among the men who are close to him; and if his left hand is wounded, it signifies property from which he will benefit through his female relatives.

The wounding of the left foot in a dream is property that the person will acquire by means of crops and agriculture. If the wound is in his heel, it signifies property that he will obtain through his child.

Whoever sees in a dream that he has been wounded, while no blood flows from his wound, has drawn near to a virtue and merit belonging to him. If he is wounded and blood flows from that wound, he will acquire property, and the effect of that property will become apparent upon him. If he sees that his left hand has been wounded, his troops will increase and become doubled. If he sees that his right hand has been wounded, the possessions and property in his hand will increase and become doubled.

To see in a dream that one has been wounded in his body signifies that the property of the dreamer will increase and become doubled.

To see that one has been wounded in his leg signifies that the dreamer’s clan and tribe will become numerous. Whoever sees that he has been wounded in his calf, his lifespan will increase manifold.

If he sees that both his feet have been wounded, his steadfastness, continuance, and sovereignty in his land will be of long duration.

If one person wounds another in a dream, the one who wounds will gain power over the other and endeavor to convey the truth to him. If blood emerges from the wound inflicted, the one who wounds becomes sinful, while the wounded person attains reward. If a person sees in a dream that he has wounded an unbeliever and caused blood to flow, he will gain power over one whose enmity toward him is manifest and will speak a word of truth to him.

If a person wounds someone and no blood emerges, he speaks concerning the wounded man a true word to which that man cannot reply. Whoever sees that he has wounded someone with a knife or something made of iron, it signifies exposing the other person’s evils and that there is absolutely no good in him. If one sees that he has been wounded in the abdomen, property will come to him from his child and his child’s child.

With the right perspective, it can signify restoring balance, recovery, and developing a new understanding.
