Kirmani said: Whoever sees fruit-bearing trees in the realm of sleep will come into possession of property. Gathering the leaves of these trees signifies wealth. According to one narration, the leaves of certain trees denote unlawful property. Whoever sees himself gathering the leaves and fruits of trees from where he is sitting will earn his livelihood without suffering hardship.
Whoever sees himself gathering shoots from the roots of trees, or fallen leaves or fruits, will quarrel with someone and prevail. Whoever sees himself upon a tall tree will attach himself to a great person and be delivered from what he fears. If he is unmarried, he will marry. Whoever sees himself descending from a tree or falling from it will have the matter between himself and that great person left unfinished.
Whoever falls from a tree in a dream and is maimed or dies will perish at the hands of a great man or a tyrannical sovereign. If the tree breaks and falls together with him, that great person will also die. If it is a branch that breaks, one of the elders of the community, or the son of the aforementioned great person, will die. Whoever comes to possess certain trees will be placed in charge of a community.
Seeing an unknown tree without leaves in a dream is a portent of sorrowful days. Seeing a completely dried-up tree is not auspicious. According to one narration, it represents misers. Whoever sees some parts of the tree in his courtyard or neighborhood dried up—if he has a sick person, that person will die. A person of his who is abroad will perish.

It provides early awareness; the person sees risks before they grow and can choose a more solid path.
