Surah of the Resurrection

Ibn Sirin: Hearing the sound of the Surah of the Day of Resurrection in a dream signifies hearing the truth. Seeing Israfil (peace be upon him) blowing the Trumpet signifies the salvation of the righteous. The sound of this Trumpet in a dream signifies frightening news that causes dread and trembling in human hearts. If he hears it alone, the news concerns him alone. If everyone hears it, then it is a general event. If he hears the sound of the Trumpet and supposes that everyone else has heard it as well, it signifies plagues and calamities, because the first blowing indicates the end of the world and the death of all within it, while the second blowing indicates the resurrection and thereafter the great gathering for the Day of Resurrection. If a sick person hears the first blowing, it signifies that he will soon be delivered from his illness.

If the city is afflicted by a calamity, hearing it signifies that the people’s distress will be removed. If there is famine, it signifies that it will come to an end and that food prices will return to normal. Hearing the second blowing of the Trumpet signifies abundance, the disclosure of things that had remained concealed, the revelation of secrets long kept hidden, recovery from illness, deliverance from prison, the reunion of lovers, or meeting persons returning from a long journey.

It provides early awareness; the person sees risks before they grow and can choose a more solid path.

Neglect, haste, untrustworthy people or uncontrolled behavior can increase the difficulty.
