In a dream, seeing a vein signifies a person’s relatives and his people. The obstruction of a vein and the cutting of a vein indicate that the person represented by that vein has left his homeland or severed relations with his relatives.

Losing blood from a vein in a dream signifies property for the poor and loss of property for the rich; seeing the veins very prominently indicates a decrease that will occur in one’s income.

If a person sees a purple and prominent vein on his body in his dream, it means that he will obtain a favorable result from his efforts. It is interpreted according to the color of the vein.

The interpretation of seeing a vein in a dream is made favorably. Seeing one’s veins swollen indicates that he will apply makeup in order to become more beautiful; seeing one’s vein cut indicates that he will fall ill; seeing blood flowing from one’s vein indicates that his appointed time of death is approaching; and seeing an operation performed on one’s vein indicates that one of the members of his household or his spouse will leave the house.

Some of the interpreters interpret the vein as the family or tribe to which a person is attached. According to this interpretation, seeing one’s vein cut in a dream indicates the severing of family ties.

Seeing one’s veins open and visibly exposed in a dream, if one is a farmer, indicates that the waterways leading to his fields have been ruined; seeing all of one’s veins cut at once indicates that the waterways leading to that farmer’s vineyard or field have become completely blocked.

Seeing blood taken from one’s vein in a dream indicates that he will suffer loss from his property in an amount equal to the blood that flowed, or that his money will leave his possession. According to another narration: The beauty of the vein is the beauty of that person; and the defect of the vein is the defect of that person. If, in a dream, a person’s vein becomes defective for some reason, it indicates the death of one of that person’s relatives.

At times, the cutting of a vein indicates that the dreamer will be separated from his relatives through his own death. A person’s veins are his lineage and tribe.

Whoever sees in a dream that one of his veins has disappeared will be separated from his relatives. Veins are like the water channels of a garden. Seeing one or all of the veins cut in a dream indicates a defect that will occur in the waterway of the dreamer’s garden and orchard.

Seeing the veins openly exposed in a dream indicates that it will not be possible to provide water to the dreamer’s grain and cultivation, or to his real estate and income-producing properties.

The veins known for bloodletting and the pulses whose movement is customary at all times indicate life, sustenance, and the elders of one’s family and tribe. Whoever sees blood flowing from the veins of his hand in a dream: if he is rich, property in the amount of that blood will leave his possession. If he is poor, property in the amount that flowed will come into his hand.

With the right perspective, it can signify restoring balance, recovery, and developing a new understanding.

Uncertainty, indecision, or a tendency to take on excessive burden may be observed.
