The Washing of the Dead

To see in a dream that one is washing a dead person signifies being the means of a person’s guidance; to see that one has died and is washing oneself signifies being delivered, together with one’s family, from grief and sorrow, and an increase in wealth and worldly possessions.

To see a bier (washing board) in a dream signifies a righteous and charitable person who delivers people from distress and is the means of their goodness and uprightness. To see in a dream that a deceased person is being washed with filth or with something unsuitable signifies that the deceased was not a good person and did not heed preaching and admonition.
