To die in a dream signifies deficiency in religion and corruption of belief, travel, moving to another place, poverty, or marriage. Death sometimes signifies seclusion, attaining comfort, or honour; sudden death denotes wealth for the poor and poverty for the rich.

What does it mean to die in a dream: It signifies repenting of an error or a sin; seeing oneself die without the signs of death, while asleep and without being ill, indicates longevity. Seeing a person who fears something or is in grief and distress die signifies goodness and well-being.

Seeing oneself dead in a dream signifies joy and attaining a beautiful and enviable state. Seeing the moment of death and suffering its agonies signifies wronging people for the sake of gain; at times, the moment of death may indicate disputation concerning religion, moving house, paying a debt, marriage, preparing for a guest, passing from one craft to another, or benefiting from rights.

Stripping the dead in a dream is interpreted as being compelled to divorce one’s spouse, oppression occurring in one’s wealth, travel, purification from sin, repentance, or—for an unbeliever—being honoured with Islam. Seeing a deceased person in sleep signifies that his condition is good. Performing the prayer over the dead signifies committing an ugly deed or engaging in a false act.
