To see in a dream that someone is one’s enemy signifies friendship to be established with him; the enemy frightening a person about something signifies attaining goodness; the enemy doing a kindness signifies his deceit; taking one’s enemy hostage signifies committing certain sins.

To see an enemy entering a place in a dream signifies heavy rain; fleeing from the enemy signifies a change to be seen in one’s disposition and morals; the enemy signifies the person’s lower self; surrounding the enemy signifies steadfastness in one’s work; and watching over the enemies or gaining victory over them.

To reveal one’s enmity toward someone in a dream signifies friendship with him; enmity signifies the disclosure of things that were concealed.

To see in a dream that one is hostile to the enemies of Allah (Exalted is He) signifies righteous action and consciousness of being a Muslim; to see that one is hostile to His friends and to Muslims signifies turning away from the Book and the Sunnah; enmity signifies not knowing something completely.

To see an enemy of yours in a dream is interpreted as attaining success by overcoming all difficulties in the matter of work.

The interpretation of seeing enmity in a dream is explained as friendship and affection.

According to Abu Sa‘id al-Wa‘iz: To see that there is enmity between oneself and someone signifies that friendship and affection will arise between them.

According to some interpreters: To see that there is enmity between oneself and someone, and that one manages and defends one’s own lower self by patiently enduring it, signifies becoming a faithful friend to that person.

To see two persons who are enemies between themselves making peace in a dream is proof that they will become vehement enemies of one another.

According to another narration: If one sees in a dream that he is acting with enmity toward another person, he will come to love the person toward whom he showed enmity and become his friend.

To show enmity in a dream toward the enemies of Allah (Exalted is He) signifies faith; to show affection for them and become their friend signifies opposing and turning away from the Book of Allah (Exalted is He) and the community of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him).

Whoever sees in a dream that he has made his enmity toward a person known will become that person’s friend. Enmity also signifies revealing concealed things. The enmity arising among enemies in a dream signifies reconciliation. The enmity arising among people who are at peace signifies evil, violence, and disorder. At times, enmity in a dream signifies annulling a matter. If a person sees himself in enmity with a great person, it signifies joy.

If you saw in a dream that you defeated your enemy, it indicates that you will overcome difficulties in your work and become wealthy; if you were defeated, it indicates that you will be exposed to troubles and ill fortune. Some things come to pass exactly as they are. It is a warning.

To meet in your dream a person whom you have long known to be your enemy, become his friend, and shake hands with him is interpreted as indicating that you must proceed in a matter you have planned without confiding in anyone, that you must not disclose your secrets to anyone, and that you must act cautiously in every respect.

According to another narration: To see an enemy in a dream signifies that one’s rank is exalted, that one is supported by Allah (Exalted is He), and that one will defeat one’s enemies.

If a person sees in a dream that someone is hostile toward him, he becomes that person’s friend. If someone frightens a person in a dream with something evil, evil will come to that person from his enemy. Whoever sees that he gives counsel to his enemy will be betrayed by his enemy.

If a person sees in a dream that his enemy has entered a place, a flood will befall that place. Whoever sees in a dream that he has taken his enemy captive will be struck by severe grief.

It provides early awareness; the person sees risks before they grow and can choose a more solid path.

Neglect, haste, untrustworthy people or uncontrolled behavior can increase the difficulty.
