To see a hill in a dream signifies a dignified and reverent person; a hill in the midst of a level and verdant land signifies the person’s social position; the surrounding level ground and greenery signify his property and sphere of influence, while structures upon the slopes of the hill signify the members of his household. Whoever sees himself sitting upon a hill in his dream will form a friendship with a person of high station. In this manner he will set his affairs right and increase his worth. Whoever sees himself walking upon a number of hills will be delivered from all his troubles and attain relief.

Whoever sees himself descending from a high hill in a dream will fall into grief and distress. If the hill upon which he stands is of earth, it signifies property and benefit; if it is of stone and sand, it signifies fame.

To see a small hill in a dream signifies a person possessing might, respect, and honor. If he sees greenery around the hill, that greenery signifies his strength, his religion, or his beautiful conduct. If, together with the high hill he sees, there are also things pertaining to the adornments of this world, it signifies the buildings that the dreamer will have constructed upon the hill where he stands for his residence.

To be unable to ascend a hill in a dream means that the dreamer will be delivered from anxieties and sorrows. If he sees himself ascending a hill, he will become the leader of a pious person. If he sees himself upon a high place, it signifies elevation, an increase in his sovereignty and leadership, and the attainment of rank and honor.

Whoever sees himself descending from a high place in a dream will enter into anxieties, grief, and distress. High hills and places signify one who is exalted in respect of lineage, knowledge, wealth, or sovereignty. Sometimes high places signify a fine dwelling, a lofty station, and a beautiful mount.

To walk upon a hill in a dream: If a person sees himself walking upon something on a high hill or elevated place, that thing is his grave and coffin. If that person is one who desires to marry, the height of the place he sees, and the abundance and breadth of its earth, indicate that he will marry a wealthy, honorable, and praiseworthy woman.
