Bit

It is indicative of being prudent, the zakat of one’s wealth, and a person who concerns himself with financial affairs.

To ride in a dream upon a saddled horse fitted with a bit signifies governorship for those qualified for it, and for others, success in directing and managing their affairs.

If the bit of the horse falls to the ground in a dream, it signifies the deterioration of affairs; seeing one’s own mouth fitted with a bit signifies refraining from unnecessary speech or that one’s word will not be given credence.

Seeing a bit in a dream signifies prudence and strength in wealth for a person of profession.

Whoever sees himself riding, with a bit, a horse that has been saddled becomes governor of a province. The bit and the breastpiece being without ornament indicates that this person is humble and that his inner state is better than his outward appearance.

Whoever sees in a dream that his own mouth has been fitted with a bit guards his tongue against vain things and keeps himself safe. If the person who sees this dream is engaged in litigation with another, the proofs he presents will come to nothing.

If a person sees in a dream that the bit of his horse has been cut, the groom who tends that person’s horse will die. The bit signifies the honour of the person indicated by the horse, and sometimes it signifies the zakat by which his wealth is safeguarded.

Whoever sees in a dream that the bit of his own horse has fallen or has been removed from its mouth will have his affairs thrown into disorder and his condition will deteriorate. Or a woman devoid of honour and chastity will be under his marriage bond.

If a person sees in a dream that a bit has been placed in his mouth, he will be restrained from committing sins. Sometimes this dream signifies fasting.

It can be read as a sign of easing, receiving support, gaining morale, or a fruitful development.

Underestimating opportunities, succumbing to comfort, or being late may reduce the positive effect.

In the interpretation, the themes of work and responsibility, success and reputation, the emotional tone in the dream, and how the symbol concludes in the dream should be evaluated together.
