Hanging Down by a Rope

Whoever sees in a dream that he is hanging down by a rope from the top of a house or wall, and has even descended to the ground, will choose asceticism and piety and abstain from forbidden things. If he sees that he has fallen down from a high place, he will lose hope in someone from whom he hopes to obtain something.

For a person to see in a dream that he is hanging on by a rope to animals such as beasts of prey and vermin indicates that, through his relatives, friends, and kinsmen, he will incline toward evil people. To see that he is holding on to animals such as sheep and cattle indicates that he will incline toward virtuous people.

It can be read as a sign of easing, receiving support, gaining morale, or a fruitful development.

Underestimating opportunities, succumbing to comfort, or being late may reduce the positive effect.

In the interpretation, the themes of success and reputation, work and responsibility, health and body, spiritual signs, the emotional tone in the dream, and how the symbol concludes in the dream should be evaluated together.
