To see in a dream that it is night signifies rest, idleness, or unemployment. To see that the whole of time is night without moonlight signifies that one’s life will pass in poverty; to see that the whole of time is night but that there is moonlight signifies that the head of state or president will transfer all his authority to the prime minister.

To pass from night into day in a dream signifies joy and gladness; night signifies the reconciliation of an estranged husband and wife; a night accompanied by thunder, lightning, and storm signifies deviation that will arise in that place; night signifies an unbelieving sultan, and day a Muslim sultan; night and day signify two adversaries or two just witnesses.
