Hole / Drilling a Hole

In a dream, a hole seen in a wall or upon another surface is interpreted as investigating a secret and as obstacles arising in one’s work and other affairs.

To see oneself drilling through solid structures or hard objects in a dream is interpreted as harassing young maidens, or as roaming the land in search of news, or as the household’s affairs falling into disorder.

To make a hole in the ground or in a wall in a dream is sometimes interpreted as acting as an inspector or investigating a matter. To bore through a house and enter it is interpreted as doing harm to the woman of that house.

To make a hole in a dream sometimes signifies conducting research in esteemed works. You shall soon undertake a long journey.

A hole opened in the ground in a dream is a difficulty that will arise suddenly. A hole opened in a wall is favourable news. Rows of holes in a wall indicate that the person shall change his house. Things drawn out of the hole are fortune that follows difficulty.

It provides early awareness; the person sees risks before they grow and can choose a more solid path.

Neglect, haste, untrustworthy people or uncontrolled behavior can increase the difficulty.

In the interpretation, the themes of work and responsibility, success and reputation, the emotional tone in the dream, and how the symbol concludes in the dream should be evaluated together.
