Pool of Kawthar

To see in a dream that the Resurrection has broken forth and that the people have gathered around the Pool of Kawthar, asking for refreshments, signifies that a government which will conduct its affairs with justice among the people shall be established. Whoever sees that he drinks the wine of Kawthar from the pool shall die as a Muslim. To see that the people are asking for water around the pool, but that it is not given to them, signifies that the people are deprived of justice; and to see that, although he himself asks, he is not given water from Kawthar signifies disbelief in and enmity toward the religion.

To see in a dream that one takes a stone bearing his name beside the pool and drinks water with it signifies that he shall befriend a great learned man and receive assistance from him in the affairs of this world and the Hereafter.

According to Jaʿfar al-Sadiq: Seeing the Pool of Kawthar in a dream is interpreted in four ways: a person who assists the people, a wealthy man, gathered property, and a knowledgeable person beneficial to everyone. To see oneself repairing the Pool of Kawthar signifies performing good works; whereas to see oneself destroying it signifies committing evil.

It can be read as a sign of easing, receiving support, gaining morale, or a fruitful development.

Underestimating opportunities, succumbing to comfort, or being late may reduce the positive effect.
