Pursuit / Chasing After

Ibn Sīrīn: To be pursued in a dream signifies a person’s destiny or death. To see oneself being sought by one’s enemy signifies that one may die within a short time. On the other hand, pursuit in a dream may also represent things that nourish a person’s pride, such as knowledge, education, ranks, money, or work. To see oneself being pursued by someone in a dream signifies grief and distress. Pursuit also signifies a person’s goal in life. If one is not a fugitive, to see oneself being sought in a dream signifies that one’s fears will be calmed. To see an ugly-looking person seeking oneself signifies an unwelcome calamity or accident. If one is caught by one’s claimant, it signifies that one’s fears will increase.

To see oneself pursuing something or striving to obtain something in a dream signifies that one will attain one’s goal, or at least a portion of it.

It provides early awareness; the person sees risks before they grow and can choose a more solid path.

Neglect, haste, untrustworthy people or uncontrolled behavior can increase the difficulty.
