Reciting Poetry

Interpreters have advanced many opinions concerning the interpretation of poetry. If the poetry seen in a dream contains wisdom, meaning, or things resembling these, it is good and signifies earning merit. According to what some interpreters have said, reciting or hearing poetry in a dream is an indication of wisdom. If the poetry seen and recited contains nothing such as wisdom and admonition, it signifies falsehood.

According to Kirmani: To see oneself reciting poetry in a dream, if that poetry is in the style of a ghazal, is an indication of anguish. If, as we stated above, it consists of preaching and admonition, it signifies admonition in its proper sense; and if it is satire, it signifies false speech and the earning of sin.

Reading or writing poetry in a dream signifies that you work very hard; but because you possess an adventurous spirit, you are unable to reap the fruit of your labor.

With the right perspective, it can signify restoring balance, recovery, and developing a new understanding.

Uncertainty, indecision, or a tendency to take on excessive burden may be observed.

In the interpretation, the themes of work and responsibility, success and reputation, the emotional tone in the dream, and how the symbol concludes in the dream should be evaluated together.
