To remember Allah by one of His thousand and one names in a dream, or to see and hear Him being remembered thus, is interpreted according to the indication of that name. To remember Allah collectively in congregation among a group signifies conversing with, or drawing near to, a company of the saints and the great men of Islam, and benefiting from the service of the community.
If a person sees in his dream that, although he is present at a gathering of remembrance, he does not join in the remembrance performed there and remains merely a spectator, this is interpreted as not being very auspicious for that person. For he has been deprived of the mercy that descends upon the people of remembrance.
If a person who is upright in his remembrance speaks words concerning wisdom in his dream, this denotes deliverance from sorrow and grief, recovery from illness, release from debt and distress, victory over an unjust person, and security from his evil.
