Sowing Crops

In a dream, sowing crops is an indication of marriage. If a married man sees in his dream that he is sowing crops, it is an indication of his wife’s pregnancy. The burning of crops in a dream is an indication of hunger and famine. Whoever sees himself walking among green crops hastens toward righteous deeds and worship.

Whoever sees in a dream that he has sown crops in a field, if he is married, it is an indication of a child; if he is unmarried, of marriage; and for one who leases out land, it is an indication that much wealth will come into his hands from the produce and the rent of his property, and of abundance in his country.

The greenness of crops in a dream is an indication of a long life; their dryness, of the approach of death. Sowing wheat in a dream is an indication that one’s wages will be multiplied many times over; sometimes it is likewise an indication of wages being multiplied many times over, just as the wheat ear indicates severity. Barley is an indication of goodness. Sometimes sowing crops is an indication of labor. Therefore, whoever sees himself in a place suitable for sowing crops will engage in an affair from which good will be expected of him.

If one sees in a dream that he has sown crops in a place where crops are not to be sown, that person commits sodomy and fornication. Whoever sees himself walking among the crops walks among the ranks of the holy warriors. If a person sees that he has a crop known to him, that crop is his deed with respect to his religion and his worldly life.

Whoever sees in a dream that he is walking in a newly sown field strives toward righteous deeds and worship. The place to be sown is also an indication of a wife. If it is a good and beautiful place, he will be pleased with his wife; if it is a bad and barren place, his wife will fall ill.

It can be read as a sign of easing, receiving support, gaining morale, or a fruitful development.

Underestimating opportunities, succumbing to comfort, or being late may reduce the positive effect.

In the interpretation, the themes of work and responsibility, home and environment, emotional life, spiritual signs, the emotional tone in the dream, and how the symbol concluded in the dream should be evaluated together.
