Tattoo

To see in a dream that you have a tattoo, or to see another person’s tattoo, gives glad tidings that you will be among auspicious events for a certain period and that matters will unfold according to your wishes.

Whoever sees in his dream that he has a tattoo on his body will receive money after long exertion. It is also necessary to pay close attention to the colour of the tattoo.

To see a tattoo in a dream indicates that the hopes and efforts of the dreamer will come to nothing, that his dreams will not be realized, and that for this reason he will fall into a great spiritual collapse. Whoever sees in his dream that he has a tattoo made will suffer both material and spiritual ruin and will be unable to free himself from his pessimistic state of mind for a long time.

Ibn Sīrīn: If a person sees in a dream that his hands have been adorned with tattoos made with henna, this indicates that he earns his livelihood through deceit or deceives others in order to meet his needs. In the end, this condition of his will become manifest, and his enemy will rejoice at his misfortune. For a woman to see that her hands are tattooed indicates that she will deceive someone in order to recover her jewels that rightfully belong to her. If the tattoo in a dream is made with gold, it indicates an old yet gentle stratagem. If it is made with mud, it indicates giving thanks to Allah, the Most High. For a woman to see that the lines of her tattoo have become entangled with one another or that its dye has begun to run indicates difficulties concerning her children.

For a man to see that his feet have been dyed and tattooed indicates that he will be tested through family problems. For a woman to see that her feet have been dyed and tattooed indicates that she will suffer distress on account of a tyrannical husband.

It can be read as a sign of easing, receiving support, gaining morale, or a fruitful development.

Underestimating opportunities, succumbing to comfort, or being late may reduce the positive effect.

In the interpretation, the themes of success and reputation, work and responsibility, health and body, spiritual signs, the emotional tone in the dream, and how the symbol concludes in the dream should be evaluated together.
