Conversing

To see oneself sitting and conversing with a virtuous person in a dream denotes goodness, benefit, and strength in one’s religion; speaking with a person ill-reputed denotes harm and corruption in one’s religion.

According to Jābir al-Maghribī, to see oneself conversing with a statesman is a sign that one will find goodness and benefit from them. Whoever sees himself speaking with an unbeliever must repent; conversing with an old woman is evidence of illness. To converse with a beautiful woman in a dream is to possess the world.

According to another narration: If a sick person sees in a dream that he is speaking and conversing with someone other than a member of his family, it is a sign that he will regain his health. It is not good for a sick person to see himself conversing with his own family. A sick person’s conversing with a stranger in a dream is an indication of something that will bring him harm.

It can be read as a sign of easing, receiving support, gaining morale, or a fruitful development.

Underestimating opportunities, succumbing to comfort, or being late may reduce the positive effect.
