Endowing as a Pious Foundation

To endow one’s property as a pious foundation in a dream signifies righteous deeds by which one draws near to Allah (C.C.), and which will cause one’s esteem in this world and the Hereafter to increase in proportion to the amount of property endowed.

Whoever sees in a dream that he has endowed a book, a house, or property as a pious foundation, if he is a sinner, will repent; if he is astray, he will attain guidance; and sometimes it signifies that he will have a child after whom he will be known. If he endows a swine, wine, or an idol, it signifies that he desires to draw near to Allah (C.C.) through unlawful wealth and to dominate the people by means of oppression and tyranny.

With the right perspective, it can signify restoring balance, recovery, and developing a new understanding.

Uncertainty, indecision, or a tendency to take on excessive burden may be observed.

In the interpretation, the themes of work and responsibility, financial matters, the emotional tone in the dream, and how the symbol concludes in the dream should be evaluated together.
