Repenting

A person’s repenting in a dream indicates abundance in his sustenance. A person’s seeking forgiveness outside of the prayer signifies longevity. Seeking forgiveness also indicates receiving aid and the warding off of affliction.

If he sees himself seeking forgiveness in a dream, Allah (Exalted is He) will forgive his sins and bestow wealth and children upon him. If he sees himself remaining silent in an assembly where forgiveness is being sought, that person is a hypocrite. If a woman sees in a dream that she is told, “Seek forgiveness,” she will commit adultery. Whoever sees himself seeking forgiveness from Allah, it is an indication of lawful wealth and children. Whoever sees himself seeking forgiveness while facing the qiblah after completing his prayer, his supplication will be accepted. Whoever sees himself facing a direction other than the qiblah will commit a sin and repent of it.

Repenting in a dream indicates deliverance from prison and attaining honor and blessing in property after afflictions. If a person sees in a dream that he prevents himself from committing a sin, he will be afflicted by a calamity. Then he will repent and, possessing property, attain honor and blessing.

If he sees that he has repented of a sin of which he has no knowledge, it is feared that he will commit that sin. Yet its outcome will be good.

With the right perspective, it can signify restoring balance, recovery, and developing a new understanding.

Uncertainty, indecision, or a tendency to take on excessive burden may be observed.
