Going to Hajj / Performing Hajj

Imam Ja‘far al-Sadiq: Going to Hajj has seven interpretations:

1—Marriage

2—Purchasing a concubine

3—Visiting the dignitaries of the state

4—Doing good to people

5—Striving for charitable works

6—Performing meritorious deeds

7—Being in the company of the people of knowledge.

Ibn Sirin: To see in a dream that you have gone to Hajj signifies that, by the permission of Allah, you shall go to Hajj. If you are ill, it signifies that you shall recover; and if you are in debt, that you shall pay your debt. If you are in fear, it signifies that you shall pass from fear into security; and if you are on a journey, you shall return to your homeland in a blessed manner.

To see in a dream that you have gone to Hajj but have missed the pilgrimage signifies a long life and putting your affairs in order.

Kirmani: To see in a dream that Hajj is obligatory upon you, yet you have not gone to Hajj, signifies that you shall betray a trust.

It provides early awareness; the person sees risks before they grow and can choose a more solid path.

Neglect, haste, untrustworthy people or uncontrolled behavior can increase the difficulty.

In the interpretation, the themes of spiritual signs, work and responsibility, the emotional tone in the dream, and how the symbol concludes in the dream should be evaluated together.
