Digging a Well

Sayyid Sulayman: If a person digs a well in a dream and water emerges from it, he will marry a wealthy woman and deceive her. For digging a well signifies deceit. If no water emerges from the well, it is an indication that the person he marries possesses no wealth.

If a person sees in a dream that he is drinking water from a well, and he himself dug that well, it signifies that he will acquire wealth through deceit. Whoever sees that he has fallen into a well, his esteem will decline.

To see in a dream the water of a well overflowing and spilling out signifies that grief, sorrow, and weeping will arise in that region. Whoever sees himself sitting upon a well will do business with a treacherous person, yet will escape his treachery. It is said that if a person sees a well in his own house and land, his livelihood will be good, he will attain ease after hardship, and he will receive good from a place he did not expect.

It provides early awareness; the person sees risks before they grow and can choose a more solid path.

Neglect, haste, untrustworthy people or uncontrolled behavior can increase the difficulty.

In the interpretation, the themes of work and responsibility, home and environment, emotional life, spiritual signs, the emotional tone in the dream, and how the symbol concluded in the dream should be evaluated together.
